In this economic environment as many companies are looking for ways to stretch their IT budget , solution providers that focus on acting as a “virtual CIO” for their customers are finding great success. As Cisco introduces new products and services, they would like to share some of the insights they’ve learned as to how to build a profitable partner services practice.
Lief Koepsel
Cisco
Lief Koepsel is a 20 year veteran of the channel and the small business segment. He has been at Cisco for over three years, first leading the Smart Care marketing development efforts then moving to lead the strategy and execution of new services for partners in the Cisco’s Small Business initiative.
Prior to joining Cisco, he worked at SonicWall for 2 years as their Director, Channel Marketing. He also led channel marketing efforts for several startups as well as managing their overall marketing activities. Most of his career has been focused on guiding the vendor channel efforts in the small and medium business or consumer segments He has a BS in Electrical Engineering and still enjoys being a geek at home.
